Record group 81-115 consists of subject files of the Recreation Services Division of the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (and its predecessor, the Department of Conservation) for the years 1946-1978. Contains budget material and correspondence. Budget materials include memoranda on financial concerns, summaries of expenditures, organizational charts, and projections of the next fiscal year's expenditures. Organizations reporting include the Consumers Power Company, the recreation planning project, and the Sea Grant Program. Correspondence includes some old government forms from the Department, and numerous letters to the Planning Section and the Land and Water Division. The bulk of the material is from 1975-1978.
